General Software Install

Most software that is not pre-installed on our computer system will require the assistance of an Academic and User Support technician for installation.

To request a software installation, please submit a Service Desk ticket.

Please Note: Some software installations may require justification and approval from management.

Please be sure to identify yourself, your location, a contact number and the software desired to be installed.


Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

Microsoft Office products do not require assistance from a technician. You can access, download and install these products from the URL below. Login using your primary email address (@coastline.edu, @gwc.cccd.edu, @occ.cccd.edu) and your Coast password. If this does not work, please try your username followed by @cccd.edu (example: jsmith23@cccd.edu) as this has shown to work sometimes.

Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, PhotoShop, InDesign, etc.)

Adobe Creative Suite products do not require assistance from a technician. You can access, download and install these products from the URL below.
